The Department of Public Works and Highways recently completed the Toran River control project.
This project aims to protect the lives and properties of the residents from frequent flooding due to the high tides of the Cagayan River in Aparri, Cagayan.

This will ensure a better traffic flow and access to nearby areas. This flood control project cost P86.9 million and was funded under the 2023 General Appropriation Act (GAA).
