The Asian Development Bank approves a 1.7 billion loan for the Laguna lakeshore road network. The project aims to enhance the mobility between Taguig and Calamba. The road network features bridges and viaducts that can reduce travel time by 25%.
This project is part of the Philippine Government’s Luzon Economic Corridor, Aiming to enhance connectivity and economic growth. The Financing will also fund climate-resilient infrastructure such as elevated viaducts and reinforced embankments, to protect against environmental risk.
